Boston Area’s Best Art Walks
" Art walks let folks appreciate local art while enjoying the fresh air and a bit of exercise. Boston has several annual and permanent art walks that help offer people an alternative to the museums when they want to enjoy paintings, sculptures, etc. Unfortunately, some of these art walks only come once a year, but there are installations that visitors can enjoy year round. The Chelsea Art Walk is an annual event that volunteers organize at the Pearl Street Gallery. Like most area art walks, it highlights the work of local artists who work in and around the walk itself, so it turns out much like an open studio event. There are many throughout the year, so anyone who is craving a bit of the Chelsea art community’s offerings can keep a lookout for open showings. Once the walk comes around again, art lovers can either volunteer to help get it running or pop in to enjoy what is on display "
