Boston’s Best Art Walks
" Boston is one of the finest walking cities in the United States. Everything in the core of this bustling city is within walking distance of everything else, including art. The art walks of Boston range from touring existing works in the city to special events where local artists peddle their wares to walkers. Some even have family activities that create walking art festivals of sorts. Experience art by foot with one of these great options in Boston.

Dates: First and third Saturday of every month between May 5 and October 20, 2012 Price: Free with admission. Admission prices are free to $22 depending on age, membership status and student status. Hours: 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.

The MFA Outdoor Tour is a walking tour conducted by the Museum of Fine Arts. Guests meet at the Sharf Visitor Center. They then walk through the beautifully-landscaped Japanese Garden on museum property, tour the museum’s outdoor artwork and view the neighborhood’s architectural highlights.
