Florists Hustling To Stay Ahead Of Valentine’s Day, Winter Storm
" BOSTON (CBS) — In the beautiful world of beautiful flowers, this is the busiest time of the year.

But combine Valentine’s day demand with a big winter storm and florists in our area are hustling. It’s a Valentine rose assembly line at Winston Flowers‘ design center in Boston.

“We’ll sell about 300,000 roses on Valentine’s Day just delivered out of the studio here alone, not including what’s coming out of the stores,” says David Winston, who along with his brother, is the third generation to run the operation.

Extra employees are doing extra work to make sure romance is delivered on time, creating arrangements and boxing rose after rose after rose after rose "
