Gresh asked Wilson, a veteran of 12 seasons, what enticed him to come to New England.
“I just want an opportunity to win and compete every year, and at the end of the day, that’s what this organization does, is win,” Wilson said. “And they’re always in the hunt, so that’s pretty much what really got me over here.”
Wilson, 33, sounded like a true Patriot when he was asked what role he hopes to fill in the defense.
“I can’t really tell you exactly what my role is going to be. I’m still out here in training camp just trying to find my niche "
