" BOSTON (CBS) - It may be hard to believe, but Patriots’ coach Bill Belichick turned 62 years old Wednesday. The NFL’s longest tenured head coach was 47 years young when he took the reigns in New England.

It’s safe to speculate that the coach’s best birthday may have been his 48th. What’s so special about 48 you ask? On April 16, 2000, Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots selected a scrawny quarterback out of Michigan named Tom Brady with pick no. 199 in the NFL draft.

That’s right, Belichick drafted Brady on his birthday.
