Brandon Browner Plans On Playing Cornerback, Looks Forward To Righting Past Wrongs
" BOSTON (CBS) — When the Patriots signed Brandon Browner after already agreeing to terms with Darrelle Revis, speculation began spreading that the 6-foot-4, 221-pound Browner may be asked to play safety for New England.

However, Browner made it rather clear on Monday that he’s in New England for one job and one job only: To play cornerback.

“They haven’t talked to me about playing safety,” Browner said of the Patriots’ staff. “So far, I’m here to play cornerback. I’ll play whatever they need me to. I just want to play football, and I’m fortunate to be playing for a team like the Pats.”

Browner said that his strength is playing man coverage, and he said he’s studied Revis to try to be a better player.

“It’ll be fun to play with someone like that,” Browner said "
