“It’s very exciting. It’s always good to get a new start,” Lloyd told Dan Roche for WBZ-TV’s Patriots Pregame Special — set to air Thursday night at 7p.m. “Hopefully this start is the beginning of something good, and that’s the reason I’m here; to come here and help this organization get back to where they want to be.”

For the last two seasons, Lloyd has been a steady playmaker in the NFL with 147 catches and 16 touchdowns for the Broncos and Rams. He’ll now join receiver Wes Welker and tight ends Rob Gronkowski and Aaron Hernandez to form an exciting collection of offensive weapons for quarterback Tom Brady.
