CBS’ Jason LaCanfora On Adam Jones Show: Will The Patriots D Be Better?
" BOSTON (CBS) – There has been much made over the Patriots new-look offense, with all the new pieces for quarterback Tom Brady to work with.

But what about the defense? While they have been stellar at stopping the run, the secondary has been a huge problem for the Patriots  – ranking near the bottom of the NFL in passing yards allowed each of the past three years.

CBS NFL Insider Jason LaCanfora joined 98.5 The Sports Hub’s The Adam Jones Show on Friday night, and said while there should be some improvement on the defensive side, the Patriots offense can still make up for any deficiencies.

“They got pretty young pretty quickly. They went from a unit that was trying to keep Rodney [Harrison], Junior [Seau], Tedy [Bruschi] for another year to really devoting a lot of young assets via draft picks to that side of the ball "
