Peyton Manning is now leading the charge in Denver, who are 2-2 after a convincing 37-6 win over the Oakland Raiders on Sunday. Manning was 30-for-38 for 338 yards with three touchdowns in the win, and Chung sees the same old Peyton Manning under center for the Broncos.
“I see the same Peyton Manning that everyone else sees, a damn good player,” said Chung. “He’s making plays and he’s making that team roll. I don’t see anything different. He didn’t skip a beat, didn’t slip, didn’t trip. He’s full steam ahead; he’s still good.”
Manning, like Tom Brady, loves to change plays at the line of scrimmage — or so we think. How much of Manning’s “audibles” is actually changing the play, and how much of it is to get the defense to over-think things.
