" BOSTON (CBS) – Former Patriots linebacker Rosevelt Colvin joined the Toucher and Rich show Friday morning and expressed concern for the health of left tackle Nate Solder.

The man responsible for protecting Tom Brady’s blindside suffered his second concussion in as many weeks, adding to a growing list of head injuries that dates back to his rookie year.

Colvin is worried about the big man’s long term health and how it’ll affect the Patriots going forward.

“These concussion things are a serious issue. It’s not something that’s just going to go away – concussions just don’t go away in a week. It takes a couple weeks to get over it,” said Colvin.

Solder’s status for Sunday against Baltimore is up in the air "
