The Patriots’ newest cornerback spoke to reporters after Friday’s workout, and he said he’s got a lot to learn, but he’s ready to really get going.
“Last year, it was a tough year when I played in Tampa Bay. It was tough, coming off the ACL and everything,” Revis said. “So it was a long year for me personally, just trying to recover. Now, I’m ready to go and, like I said, I’m just trying to sit here and absorb everything and I’m just trying to enjoy my time and get ready for the season.”
Revis’ addition to the New England roster was welcome news for Tom Brady, who no longer has to worry about Revis on opposing defenses. Revis said that battle is now reserved for the practice field "
