
But that does not stop him from helping out a former teammate.
Faulk, along with numerous past and present Patriots, were present at the Joe Andruzzi and Friends Golf Tournament at Granite Links in Quincy on Monday, all to raise money for families dealing with cancer.
“We’ve been together for a long time, me and Joe,” Faulk said from the tournament. “When he called and I was able to be here I was like ‘sure, why not? I can stink up the course for a little bit to help out a good cause and donate some money.”
As for what the free agent back has heard from the Patriots, well it isn’t much. There has been no contact between the 14-year-veteran and the team.
“Not at all. But this is the New England Patriots; it’s what they do,” said Faulk. “They’ve been doing business like this for a long time, and you have to understand that.”
