" BOSTON (CBS) – The Patriots are no strangers when it comes to bringing in players from questionable pasts, like Corey Dillon, Randy Moss, Albert Haynesworth, Chad Ochocinco, Aaron Hernandez, Aqib Talib and Alfonzo Dennard just to name a few.

Some have worked out while others have not, but Bill Belichick doesn’t shy away from it.

Add Richie Incognito to the list?

The shamed Dolphins offensive lineman becomes a free agent in March, and after controversial bullying allegations against teammate Jonathan Martin made headlines throughout America during the regular season it’s highly unlikely he’ll be returning to Miami.

Richie Incognito has been voted by his peers year in and year out as one of the dirtiest players in the league, and when this “scandal” came to light it was all the more easy to pile on.

However, he did not haze Jonathan Martin – they were friends, and the evidence proves that.

Because Richie’s been vindicated in the court of public opinion, Scott Zolak believes it’ll be a lot easier for teams to sign him.

“He’s been cleared, he’s been reinstated and I think what he’s been accused of doing has played itself out. We know the answers now,” said Zo "
