" BOSTON (CBS) – Did you like what you saw in Danny Amendola this year? You better have, because he’s under contract for four more seasons.

The slot receiver that was supposed to be the younger, better Wes Welker struggled to stay healthy and produced just 54 catches for 633 yards and 2 touchdowns in the 2013 regular season.

And when the bright lights shined even brighter in the postseason, the 5’11″ Amendola came up small, totaling just 3 receptions in the team’s two postseason games, including 1 target and zero catches in the AFC Championship Game in Denver.

Despite the lack of production and inability to stay on the field, Scott Zolak think it’s too early to give up on him.
