Gronkowski Happy With Contract, Says Ankle Is ‘Great’

" BOSTON (CBS)  – Rob Gronkowski is fresh off becoming the richest tight end in the history of the NFL.

So what has he bought since inking the eight-year, $55 million deal? Nothing.

Instead, No. 87 is happy he’ll be wearing #87 for the New England Patriots for the foreseeable future.

“I just love it here,” Gronkowski said from the Joe Andruzzi and Friends Golf Tournament on Monday. “It felt like both sides were happy and both sides got it done. It’s awesome to be here for that long.”

Gronkowski was one of several current and former Patriots helping Andruzzi at his event, all to raise money for families dealing with cancer "
