" BOSTON (CBS) – New England Patriots cornerback Alfonzo Dennard has pleaded not guilty on charges of third-degree assault of a police officer on Tuesday, according to the Omaha World-Herald.

The charges stem from an incident just days before the NFL draft, in which Dennard reportedly struck an officer outside a bar in Lincoln, Nebraska.
