Patriots’ LeGarrette Blount Named AFC Offensive Player Of The Week
" BOSTON (CBS) – After setting a new Patriots’ single-game record for all-purpose yards against the Bills on Sunday, LeGarrette Blount has been named AFC Offensive Player of the Week.

Blount racked up 334 all-purpose yards in New England’s 34-20 Week 17 win over the Buffalo Bills, rushing for 189 yards on the ground and collecting 145 kickoff return yards.

Blount’s performance topped a 51-year-old team record set by Larry Garron in 1962, when he had 272 all-purpose yards at Buffalo. Blount finished the game with a 7.9-yard per carry average, and his 189 rushing yards are the fifth-highest single-game rushing total in Patriots history "
