Patriots Officially Sign Andre Carter
" BOSTON (CBS) – The New England Patriots have officially signed veteran defensive end Andre Carter, the team announced Wednesday morning.

In addition, the Patriots have signed DT Sealver Siliga to the practice squad and released CB Travis Howard from the practice squad.

The 34-year-old Carter was with the Patriots during the 2011 season and earned his first Pro Bowl selection after registering 10 sacks in 14 games, the fourth time he registered double-digit sacks in his career.
