Tom Brady was picked off on the game’s final play and New England loses just their third game of the season, but this one won’t go down as just a loss.
A flag was thrown on the final play as Brady was looking for covered-up Gronkowski in the end zone. Luke Kuechly had Gronkowski in a bear hub, and a flag was thrown, but it was picked up and no penalty was called. It was explained on ESPN that Brady’s pass was under thrown, and Gronkowski wouldn’t have had a chance to make a catch anyways.
Brady was not too happy walking off the field as he was in search for an explanation. Bill Belichick wasn’t pretty happy either as he took the podium after the game.
