Patriots’ Rookie Logan Ryan Apologizes For Gesture vs. Jets
" BOSTON (CBS) – New England Patriots rookie cornerback Logan Ryan was fined $10,000 for his obscene touchdown celebration in the Patriots 30-27 loss to the New York Jets last Sunday, and apologized for his actions on Thursday.

Ryan, a third-round pick out of Rutgers, grabbed his first career interception in the first quarter against the Jets, picking off Geno Smith and returning it 79 yards for a touchdown. As he got close to the end zone, Ryan turned around and grabbed his groin.

On Thursday, the 22-year-old apologized for the celebration.

“First off, I just want to apologize to all the fans and all the viewers who had to witness that. I own up to it 100 percent,” Ryan said from the Patriots’ locker room "
