Report: Keith Yandle ‘Would Love To Play For Bruins’
BOSTON (CBS) — If the NHL does indeed avoid a lockout for this upcoming season, might the Bruins’ blue line be home to a new All-Star?

" According to CSNNE’s Danny Picard, a source close to Keith Yandle said that the 25-year-old defenseman “would love to play for the Bruins.”

" Yandle, a Boston native, lists Ray Bourque as his favorite player and the Red Sox as his favorite non-hockey team on his NHL bio and he played at Cushing Academy in Ashburnham in high school. He is the Coyotes’ highest-paid player, as he is one year into a five-year, $26.25 million contract that carries a $5.25 million cap hit, so any potential trade would likely have to net the Coyotes some high-talent but low-cost players.

Yandle has played in all 82 games in each of the last three seasons, averaging 47.6 points per year and posting a plus-33 rating "
