With the deadline to sign up for health care coverage at the end of this month, administration officials are attempting to leverage the influence of mothers in a series of events this week aimed at getting more people to enroll under the Affordable Care Act.
It’s no mystery why they’re doing this. Officials say mothers have a big influence on health care decisions for their families – namely the young healthy adults that are needed to balance the sick and older people who have enrolled.
And it should be no surprise to see the First Mom in front of this effort "
