Boston City Council Approves Police Officer Pay Hike
" BOSTON (CBS) – Boston City Councilors have approved an arbitrator-awarded 25-percent pay hike for the city’s police officers.

The increase includes money for benefits and bonuses.

Councilors approved the measure twelve-to-zero, saying police officers should be compensated for the risks they take to keep us safe "
