Dates Set For Special Mass. US House Election
" BOSTON (AP) — A date has been set for the special election to fill Sen.-elect Edward Markey’s seat in the U.S. House.

The primary election will be held on Oct. 15, with the general election scheduled for Dec. 10.

Markey, who won the special election fill the U.S. Senate seat left vacant by the resignation of John Kerry, will be formally sworn into office on Tuesday. He’ll resign his House seat.

The ceremony is scheduled for 10 a.m "
