" The Red Sox are playing as good as anyone could have hoped as the regular season wraps up at the end of the month.

The Sox look like they are a lock to take the division and could finish things with the best record in the league if they keep up their winning ways. Does anyone in the AL pose a challenge to the Red Sox with the way they have been playing?

“I think it would have to be the Tigers just based on who they have and their pitching. I think clearly that’s the second best team,” Red Sox insider Peter Abraham told 98.5 The Sports Hub’s Toucher & Rich on Monday morning.

The Sox could be lucky enough to clinch home field advantage throughout the playoffs, but the guys wonder if it really means anything? Abraham points out that the Sox have a better record at Fenway, but their record on the road isn’t horrible "
