" BOSTON (CBS) – Andrew Bailey took another big step towards joining the Red Sox for the first time this season.

The reliever pitched in back-to-back games Wednesday and Thursday for the Pawtucket Red Sox, tossing two scoreless innings and striking out three.

Bailey threw a 1-2-3 sixth inning Wednesday night against the Syracuse Chiefs, getting a ground out and a pop out before striking outĀ Brett Carroll swinging "
