Curtis: Buchholz, Red Sox Can’t Get Out Of Own Way
" BOSTON (CBS) – The Red Sox left Boston having won nine of their last 11 games, going 7-2 on their most recent home-stand.

However, they landed in Seattle with their star pitcher, hours removed from the intensive care unit, at a vodka sponsored charity pool party at Foxwoods Casino. This team simply cannot get out of its own way.

On the NESN broadcast Wednesday, Clay Buchholz spoke of the esophagitis that landed him in the ICU for multiple days and in the hospital for nearly a week. He said he lost nearly six pints of blood and, at times, thought his life was in jeopardy. He informed Jenny Dell that he was to remain in Boston because the doctors had yet to ascertain the direct cause of the illness.

Late last night, 98.5 The Sports Hub’s  Scott Zolak tweeted that Clay was spotted at Greg Hill’s Stoli sponsored charity pool party, merely 36 hours removed from his near week-long stay at the hospital "
