David Ortiz, Red Sox Agree To Extension
" BOSTON (CBS) – The Red Sox and designated hitter David Ortiz have agreed on a one-year extension, a source tells WBZ-TV’s Dan Roche.

The deal was first reported by ESPN’s Gordon Edes.

The deal is worth $16 million and will keep the slugger in Boston through the end of the 2015 season.

Ortiz was entering the final year of a two-year, $26 million deal, which he signed back in November 2012 "
