Heyman With Gresh & Zo: Valentine Vs. Youkilis

Over the weekend, Valentine called out third baseman Kevin Youkilis’ effort.  Heyman was at Fenway for Boston’s series against the Rays, what did he think of Youk?

“He didn’t look as into it as I’ve seen him in the past,” Heyman said with a chuckle, making light of Valentine’s comments.

“I understand people are going to be up in arms,” he said, which included Sox second baseman Dustin Pedroia who backed Youkilis Monday morning. “We all love Dustin Pedroia, no matter what side you’re on from Francona to Valentine…  I think we have to understand they had Francona here for eight years, and he’s a real players manager with very relaxed rules, and they took advantage.”
