Middlebrooks Dealing With Tightness In Hamstring
" BOSTON (CBS)  - The status of Red Sox third baseman Will Middlebrooks is unknown after he was forced to leave in the ninth inning of Sunday’s 2-1 extra innings win over the Mariners with hamstring tightness.

The team is not certain of the severity of the issue and did not comment Sunday evening. They will know more prior to opening a three-game series against the Athletics Monday night in Oakland.
