Ortiz Goes 9-for-12 Against Astros
" BOSTON (CBS) – David Ortiz is probably disappointed the Red Sox have to leave Houston.

The Astros couldn’t figure out a way to get Ortiz out over the last three games, with Ortiz going 9-for-12 at the plate.

After starting the series going 1-for-3 in Boston’s 2-0 loss on Monday, Ortiz went 8-for-9 the rest of the way, rattling off 10 straight plate appearances in which he reached base. In that span, Ortiz clubbed eight singles and walked twice.

On Thursday, Ortiz went 4-for-5 for his second straight four-hit game. The slugger now has 21 four-hit games in his career.
