Red Sox Honor Pesky Prior To Loss Against Angels
" BOSTON (CBS) – The Boston Red Sox honored the late Johnny Pesky prior to their 5-3 loss to the Los Angeles Angels Tuesday night at Fenway Park.

The entire Red Sox team donned Pesky’s number six, which was also cut into the outfield grass behind shortstop, where Pesky played during his 10-year MLB career.

There was a moment of silence for Pesky, and “Taps” was played by a trumpeter before the game. Pesky’s son, David, threw out the ceremonial first pitch "
