Red Sox Ready To Visit White House Tuesday Morning
" BOSTON (CBS) — The 2014 season is underway, but the Red Sox have just one more celebration left for┬átheir 2013 World Series Championship.

The Red Sox will be visit President Barack Obama at the White House on Tuesday, and will be honored for last season’s worst-to-first title run.

“I will be a good day,” manager John Farrell said after Monday’s season-opening loss to the Orioles. “It’s notierity of what these guys did a year ago, it’s a tradition, and anytime you can go to the White House and speak to the President first-hand, it’s a unique experience.”

“It’s pretty special. That’s the goal every year, to go to the White House the next season,” said second baseman Dustin Pedroia. “It’s going to be fun, just taking it all in "
