Red Sox Scheduled To Visit White House On Tuesday, April 1
" BOSTON (CBS) — The Boston Red Sox will begin defending their World Series title on Monday in Baltimore, but on Tuesday they’ll be honored one last time for the amazing worst-to-first turnaround.

With next Tuesday being a scheduled off-day, the Red Sox will make their honorary visit to the White House and visit with President Barack Obama.

The event is scheduled for 11:15 am, and the team is also planning to visit wounded soldiers at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center while in Washington, D.C. "
