The Red Sox announced that they will hold a postgame tribute to Pesky on Sunday, Sept. 23 after their afternoon game against the Baltimore Orioles.
The “Celebration of Life” tribute, as the team calls it, is open to fans who attend the game as well as the general public, with the gates opening shortly after the game concludes. The ceremony is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m., with current and former Red Sox players in attendance "
