Report: Red Sox Agree To Deal With Jonny Gomes
" BOSTON (CBS) — The Boston Red Sox have reportedly reached a deal with free-agent outfielder Jonny Gomes.

According to the San Francisco Chronicle, he agreed to a two-year contract with the Red Sox worth $10 million.

Gomes, who will turn 32 on Thanksgiving, batted .262 with 18 homers and an .868 OPS in 99 games for the A’s last season, his third team in the past two years. He hit .209 between Cincinnati and Washington in 2010 and owns a career .244 batting average and .790 OPS "
