Toucher & Rich: Adolfo Tries To Debunk Clay Buchholz’s Pitching-In-Heat Excuse
" BOSTON (CBS) – The Red Sox were in action on Monday and played a scorching hot, 84-degree Memorial Day matinee in Atlanta against the Braves for some interleague action.

It was another rough outing for Sox starter Clay Buchholz, who allowed six earned runs, walked eight and failed to make it out of the fourth inning. He did get a base hit in his lone at-bat, which apparently forced him to be tired the rest of the game.

Buchholz told the assembled media afterwards that running to first base made him tired, and he was never quite right after that "
