" BOSTON (CBS) – Boston police recovered a Wally The Green Monster costume Friday after reporting it had been stolen from Fenway Park an hour-and-a-half earlier.
Officers say the initial call for a theft came in around 2:30 p.m.
Officers say the person who took the costume is a Red Sox employee who “neglected to inform the proper supervisor.”

That employee left the ballpark wearing the costume. When security realized the suit was missing, it sett off a search.
The mascot was spotted by a number of people wandering down Boylston Street, posing for pictures, and even stopping in the Apple store "
